First Aid Responder Course – 3 day

This Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Response Course or FAR is the New First Aid Standard for Occupational First Aid in the workplace recognised by both the health & Safety Authority and PHECC.

This 3 day FAR course replace the FETAC QQI Occupational First Aid Course and Safelives  Training Services will be rolling out this course in 2017.

Public PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) courses will be held in  Louth, Meath Dublin

About the Author
I am a Registered General Nurse with 20 years experience in Theatre and Endoscopy Departments. I am a qualified Occupational First Aid Instructor and a Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) instructor and an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor. In 2010 I started Co Louth's first Community Cardiac First Responders Group in Haggardstown & Blackrock, where we raised over €10,000 and purchased five defibrillators for the community. I personally have voluntarily trained 100 responders in the locality. I also deliver the FETAC Level 5 course for carers. I am a FETAC Level 6 Manual Handling and People Handling Instructor.
